Not all aluminium windows are the same, so when buying new windows it is important to make the right choice. The Alitherm Aluminium Windows that we supply are designed to last and have a wealth of features not usually available with many other aluminium windows.
Our aluminium windows are made from the finest materials in a choice of styles –
We can provide any design or combination that you require. Leaded lights either square or diamond pattern and Georgian glazing bars are also available.
Aluminium is known for it's resistance to rust, rotting and distortion but the introduction of polyamide technology takes it to a new level. Polyamide offers greater thermal insulation and increased strength.
With this exciting development in aluminium window technology, you can now choose different colours for the internal and external faces.
For instance, if you are replacing wood frames, you may wish to have the exterior colour in brown, thus keeping to the character of the originals, and have white as your internal colour, or indeed any other combination of two colours.
With the inherent strength of the aluminium alloy used in the construction of our windows, we are able to offer super slim frame profiles. These are very attractive to the eye and maximise the available light entering your home. They will transform your home both inside and outside while retaining all the benefits of double glazing.
In today's security conscious world you can never be too careful. So with security in mind our windows have been designed to meet the standards of BS 7950. Locking handles come as standard and a choice of locking systems are available including:
All fixings used in the construction of the windows are either stainless steel,
aluminium alloy or another suitable corrosion resistant material.
All opening vents are hung on concealed stainless steel variable angled friction stays
and fitted with espagnolette type locking handles. To limit the opening of the vent,
restrictor stays are also fitted.
To secure the glazing units, aluminium clip in beads and flexible gaskets both inside
and out meet with the requirements of BS 6262 Code of Practice for Glazing for Buildings.
To keep out those other unwelcome visitors, bad weather and draughts, all opening windows are fitted with highly durable double weather seals. The weather sealing is capable of performing to the toughest rating required under the British Standard.
